title:Week 7

Week 7
Question: What and Should your character have done anything different?

Answer:
What my group’ character, Prince Escalus would have done are,
Firstly, the Prince could have sentence Romeo to death for killing Tybalt as it’s still a crime. After Romeo’s terrible death, Juliet’s death could be next as she loved Romeo so much that she once said she would do anything for him and said once too that if Romeo’s feelings for her isn’t true, she asked him to leave her to hurt to death. These showed that Juliet would give up her life too if Romeo is dead. Just like what she did in the original story, when she woke up from her long ‘sleep’, she saw Romeo dead beside her and thus, killed herself. At last, it will still be a saddening ending.
Secondly, Prince Escalus could have be noted the details of the fight and knew that it wasn’t Romeo’s fault. Thus, didn’t give him any punishment. In this case, Romeo could still be able to be with together with Juliet secretly after the Capulet Family’s anger about Tybalt’s death has subsided then they could announced their wedding and then both families would not be enemies anymore and at last, the town would be at peace.

title:Week 5's

QUESTION:Did Tybalt deserve to die?

ANSWER:Personally,i think that yes,Tybalt deserve to die as he should not create trouble for nothing and cause the fight between him and Mercutio.I think that he should acted like a gentlemen and ignored Mercutio remarks.If he could control his temper,he might not be dead.He is a troublemaker himself as in Scene 4(A street near the Capulets' house),Romeo did not provoke him in the party but he wanted to disturb Romeo.He is also a rude and silly boy as it is mentioned by his uncle,Lord Capulet.Once again,he tried in vain to provoke Romeo to fight with him at the town square in Verona.He killed Mercutio when Mercutio wasn't paying attention and that is an ungentlemenly act.He deserve to die as he should pay for what he had done and it was partly his fault for the cause of his death.

title:Week 7's

-What could have done to prevent all the deaths?

I think they should not even be enemies in the first place, if they are not enemies, they would have prevented 6 deaths in total. they should just be friends and make peace. i think that Juliet should tell Lord Capulet that she is not mourning for Tybalt's death but for Romeo. this could solve the misunderstanding, and might prevent their deaths. the Capulets should also teach their servants some manners, as they are very rude to the Montague. they asked for a fight. Tybalt should also work on his anger as he is too impulsive. if he had good anger management, he could prevent his own death and also mercutio's death. Prince Escalus should also stop their fight earlier.

While Mercutio and Tybalt was fighting. Romeo was in a good mood. He did not want to fight so he tried to end the fight between them. Tybalt push his sword from under Romeo's arm and killed Mercutio. Romeo was furious, he came into a fight with Tybalt and killed him.

title:Week's 5

Week 5

QNS: How did the fight start?

At the town square Mercutio and Benvolio are complaining of the heat untill Tybalt, itching for a fight, arrives. Mercutio wanted to fight him as they were suprised when Tybalt said he only wanted to TALK and said that, "You'll fing me ready for that, sir, if you made me angry." which made Mercutio angry. But, when Tybalt sees Romeo and intended to fight him and even asked Romeo to take out his sword to fight with him. But, Romeo didnt intend to fight Tybalt as he had just been married to Juliet, Tybalt's cousin which Tybalt didnt know. Tybalt would hate Romeo and wanted to fight him because at the dance, Romeo got near to Juliet and were close together. Romeo did not and will not fight him because he's married to a Capulet. But Mercutio insists on fighting Tybalt. In a wonderfully choreographed dueling scene, Tybalt kills Mercutio. Romeo was so angry that he killed Tybalt out of fury. In the end, Romeo was expiled. Anyway, in the beginning, the person who really started the fight was Tybalt which had already been punished, kill(:

3rd Qns, week 3's

Mercutio is a relative of the prince and a friend of Romeo.Mercutio is also ugly as he had mentioned scene 4 that he have an ugly face but a mask will hide it when they are going to the party at the Capulet family.He is also cheerful as he always think on the bright side and that we can tell that when Romeo and him had a bad dream he thinks that dream are often not true.He is also daring as even though he knows that if he talks about Rosaline infront of Romeo that might anger or upset him but he still when on to force Romeo out but unfortunately he failed to get him out from hiding in the darkess of the trees at the Capulets' garden.At the same time,he is also inconsiderate as he laughs at Romeo feelings of being in love with Rosaline and was not afraid that he might hurt Romeo.He is aggressive when facing the Capulet family as he is a friend of Romeo and he might felt that he has the need to stand on side with the Capulet family and thus he could not control his emotion when facing the Capulet family.He became a troublemaker when he met Tybalt in town and started a fight with him and despite Benvolio,the peacemaker tried to stop him,he continued and even accused Benvolio being the troublemaker and Romeo being weak and thus he was partly at fault for the cause of his own death.

title:Week 4 (:

(a) Give a short account of the fight that happened during Act 1, Scene 1.

Sampson and gregory prepares to fight the Montagues, they tried to provoke them by making a rude face at the Montagues. The Capulet's servants and the Montagues' servants started fighting. Here comes two of the moasters from both of the sides. Beonvolio and Tybalt started fighting while Benvolio tries to calm the whole situation. Three or four townspeople of Verona walk passed and started fighting too. Lord Capulet with his wife and Lord Montagues with his wife arrives. Lord Capulet and Lord Montagues wanted to fight too but thier wife stopped them, Prince Escalus arrived. He stopped the fight and chat with them to find out the reason how they started fighting.

(b) Whose fault is it?

I think both of the sides, Capulets and Montagues family are at fault but the Capulets are in the wrong first as the Capulets' servants provoked the Montagues family by making a rude face at them first. Both of the sides are in the wrong place because they started fighting with each other, later in the play, Lord Capulets and Lord Montagues started fighting .
