In my opinion, i think Prince Escalus is the peace-maker. He always get to most of the fight between the Capulets and the Montagues family to stop them from fighting. He is also reasonable, as he didn't put Romeo to a death sentence when Romeo killed Tybalt with full of anger when Tybalt injured his friend, Mercutio. Whose is also one of the prince's relatives. Lastly, i think Prince Escalus is a helpful person. He helps the two families to solve their problems as they always qurrall when they sees each other as he has the power to do it.
Prince Escalus, Prince of Verona, is the mediator of the feuding families in one of William Shakespeare’s story, Romeo & Juliet. Prince Escalus is the voice of authority in Verona. He appears only three times within the text and only to administer justice following major events in the feud between the Capulet and Montague families. He first punishes Lord Capulet and Lord Montague in Act1 Scene 1 for the quarrel between Tybalt, Benvolio,a handful of servants and some of the people of Verona. In Act 3 Scene 1, he returns again to late to stop the fatal brawls between Tybalt and Mercutio and, subsequently, Tybalt and Romeo. Actually, Escalus wanted to execute Romeo for killing Tybalt. But, in the end, Romeo was sentenced to lifetime banishment from Verona after Benvolio insists that Tybalt started the quarrel by murdering Mercutio. Lastly, He returns again in the final scene – Act 5 Scene 3- following the two suicides of Romeo and Juliet and at last orders the lords of the feuding families to make peace.
Prince Escalus is the peace-maker in this story. He is the voice of authority in Verona. The one everyone have to obey. He is an absolute ruler for the country. One everyone can depend on. One everyone can trust to handle things on as he has the power to do so in Verona.

Character: Mercutio
Mercutio is a relative of the prince. He is also a friend of Romeo. In everything he does and says is very energetic. He loves playing with words. Example, using two or more meanings in the words he uses (: There’s once in the book whereby Romeo described Mercutio as someone who’s sort of foolish. He described Mercutio as someone who laughs at things that he can’t even understand it.
